Mission Accomplished!
Today Lucia de Berk was officially acquitted in the court at Arnhem, NL.

We are all very very pleased that it's all over for her now, for Lucia, her daughter and now her very new granddaughter (congratz again Izzadora) and hope she can now start the rest of her life with that massive weight lifted from her shoulders.
Cheers Lucia, it's been an interesting few years, to say the least.

Lucia de Berk is (all but) acquitted today.

Just back from the court in Arnhem where Lucia went through a pretty scary process for what hopefully must be the last time.
Over nine years ago Lucia was sentenced to life without parole for 3 murders & 7 attempted murders. Today she saw justice served for the first time.
Metta de Noo & her brother Ton Derksen have worked tirelessly during most of that period to bring this miscarriage of justice to the attention of whoever would listen.
Many others have given their time, expertise & energy to see this wrong righted.
On 14th April the judges will give their final verdict, a formality, the Public Prosecutor basically rolled-over today and admitted her innocence. They had no case to present and it was all wrapped up just after lunch.
Lucia is not required to be present on the 14th of April.
The last word in court was hers. She used that opportunity to thank all those who have worked on her behalf. You know who you are, I hereby pass on her gratitude to you all.

Made a new one for the website.
I still think I prefer "Manipulating" images to actually taking the shots. The photography is often just a means to gather material to tweak in PS.

Arrived at this place, which will remain nameless for now, at 12.55hrs for a fixed booking time of 13.00hrs.
Those of you in the UK, look out the window. Now that's not bad going in this weather, dontcha think?
They've put me "wait" because they don't have room for the stuff. This could take hours.
